Wouldn't that be a breath of fresh air? I think that all this virulent partisanship does us no good as a country. We are all in this together.

Didn't 9-11 show us, among other things, that terrorist acts against this country aren't targeted at all Dems or Repubs, liberals or conservatives? We all suffered.

Things should be decided as to whether they are in the best interest of the American people. Democrats need to stop hindering progress just because it's a republican idea or vice versa.

great politician, imo is an oxymoron...

but doubtful a great leader can be elected...too many special interest groups on the margins affecting election outcomes.
