TTBOMK no, the pipeline deal that was just signed by Turkmeistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan is not to be used for the distribution of gas within Afghanistan. There will be a royalty paid to an elite clique for transshipment, but the people of Afghanistan will see absolutely no benefit. It's part of George Bush's policy that he's "not into nation building" doncha know....
