on this point we agree..

we both know that any *attempt* to balance the federal budget will be done on the back of the taxpayer..

not through spending cuts...the feds consider a "reduction of increase" a cut for goodness sake...

imo, the best way to help with economic growth is to transfer as much of the taxpayer dollar back to him as is feasible...with a commensurate amount of fat cutting and elimination of unnecessary programs....(like the NEA jorj cited) so that precious and limited dollars can be correctly prioritized.
