If Whitewater was a "crime" why were they exonerated after 5 years of investigation by a partisan prosecutor who now works for the GOP forces trying to gut campaign finance reform? From what I can see, Whitewater was an old deal the Clintons lost money on during a time during the Reagan era when everyone ESPECIALLY in Texas was taking advantage of S+L deregulation. The Clinton's lost $40,000 on that deal and the cost tax-payers nothing. Tax-payers lost on Neil Bush's $800,000,000 Silverado debacle though. And many others.
