When somebody makes a statement "A when B" and you just quote the A part, that is usually, as it was in this case, distorting.

If, for example, you wrote "I really hate people who ...." and I just quoted you as saying "I really hate people," which is an accurate quote,and went on about how you hate people, would you think that an honest commentary?

and how do you know it is real?

and what exactly is a real people persona? how does it differ from a false people persona? Or a real people without a persona? Ah the thinks I can think.
