S&P stocks are already paying out 53% of their earnings.

The yield is under 2%.

Yields have only two ways to rise - either companies have to earn more money, or stock prices have to fall.

Considering the cuckooland "earnings" of U.S. business (earnings have actually been declining since 1997) and the monstrous debt loads + rampant deflation being imported from Asia + a bankrupt consumer - the latter is highly likely.
