I'll be fully short then also. I believe that could be at least a 3-4 month sell and hold. I'm a little tired of wiggling. I mostly trade options so most of the time even if your wiggle correct the spread and volatility fluctuations get you. I've adopted a sort of "swing for the fences" strategy at this point.

My smelly calls from thursday are just now a double. My r2k calls are a pathetic 10%. I had some spx 975 januarys that I dumped for a scratch at .4 because It seemed a little ridiculous, but they've been bid as high as 1.60 today. UFB Wish I'd just went full out clown calls...ng

I also didn't anticipate that big caps would be stronger due to this dividend cut thing(bullish for some golds too, which I also didn't think of). The "january effect" small cap ramp may have been over anticipated but I'm not throwing in the towel on it just yet.

If we pull back here we should stop at 912 spx. I'd rather see 920 hold. I also could see us gap up 10-15 comp points in the morning and keep going, just no good way to tell. </epistle>
