That too. That Likud election, with voting restricted to the central committee, would have made Tammany Hall proud by all accounts. The Israelis are saying ruefully, well at least with our political parties, you can see the corruption, it's all out in the open. Sharon doesn't seem to be touched by the scandal personally but support for the Likud has droped about 25% since the scandal broke, polls now say that Likud will only get about 30 seats, with most of the changed vote going to benefit Shinui and some to Shas.
