patron -- by my reading of the COT report, the commercials added about 11k to their long position in the S+P, minis included. That's sizable...though just a cancellation of the prior week. On a slightly different note... I didn't see any reversal or topping candles drawn today in any of the indices I look at. So while we might tank from here... I think a correction then another move up might be more likely. or at least something like the SOX did back in August -- a few days up and down around the same level to make some kind of top. Then again, it's warning season, stimulus-package season, and Iraq season, so I can't say with much certainty. That is why I am... the freep
