This is not discrimination or illegal or whatever, it's just how the job market works

We should let every one from South America walk in to ease the shortage of RN, Doctors, HandyMan etc.

H1-B was scam 90%. IMHO.

Re "Dumping" of immigrants.

No doubt it is true that immigration whether legal or not has an effect on suppressing wage growth (and conversely keeping inflation down). But at some point the dumping argument can be reduced to absurdity. People giving birth are "dumping" new employees into the work place. Colleges and high schools educating people are "dumping" new, cheap educated labor into the market. What are we to do, hold the US population at a fixed point and keep everyone stupid? What is the optimum labor force in the US anyway? Isn't the best labor market the open one where wages will determine where the best workers go? I for one am very happy that the best and brightest in the world want to come to our shores and share in this prosperity. We're all better off for it.
