It is pretty clear we all think we are on solid ground when we think we are right. If we did not think we were on solid ground, would we think we are right? I have never met someone who thought they were not on solid ground when they were of the opinion they were right, nor, as a corollary have I ever met someone who said someone else was not on solid ground, when that other person had laid out an arguement that they agreed with. Ergo, I feel fairly confident in my assessment. Your memory jogs are interesting though. I ALWAYS try to say IMO. If I failed to, you should have inferred it. I've said over and over again I am a relativist which means EVERYTHING is imo. If you fail to understand that, or remember it, that's your problem, not mine.

And I said that about JLA because he likes to go around calling lots of people names, all the time. I doubt if a day goes by that JLA is on SI that he doesn't call several people several names. So that's why I said it.
