U.N.: Nothing Suspicious Found in Iraq
Mon Jan 6, 7:38 PM ET

No, there is nothing suspicious about Saddam hiding two of his weapons scientists out at one of his palaces, as reported by Gertz yesterday...

Al,

A couple of people talking about Iraq yesterday; one was a Rep., whose name I did not get, stating that the administration's main purpose for invading Iraq was because they are worried Iraq might gain control of the oil in the region. That view was followed up later by a Newsweek rep who claimed the same thing. Nothing new but at least the whole issue of Iraq presenting a constant and present danger to the US is being set aside for some reality talk.

Secondly, did you note the stuff I posted this AM re the 5 men who allegedly crossed the border........turns out it was a hoax promoted by some tipster. Makes you wonder how much of the info we have been given re al Qaeda is the real deal.
