Aren't they both looking in the same direction? I'm not sure exactly what Velo's targets are but it appears that he is talking long-term shorts as soon as tomorrow. The guy you posted, he thought wave 5 was possibly already complete prior to today, but now he's got to wait for it to play out.

I think he's still clearly expecting wave 5 to be a failure wave in here. It's my own interpretation that there are points in his own analysis which suggest that his count may be incorrect or may possibly have been nullified. He basically admits he's got to do a little stretching to view this as a wave 5, since wave 4 took out wave 2.

He also seems to suggest that the wave 5 expanding triangle was a valid (bearish) pattern which failed when we rallied. I'm not sure how to take this other than that we should have gone down and we didn't.
