I think you are misusing the term. "Utopian" is: Well Zonder.. it may not fit perfectly, but I believe my original understanding of the word's definition and applicability stands true. Proposing impracticably ideal schemes. After all, Krugman was perceiving his negotiation tract with N. Korea from a civilized perspective of two nations in disagreement getting together and working out their differences in a peaceful manner.. But that's not how Jong thinks.. Sure he's smart.. And I believe also deluded by his megalomaniac personality where he doesn't believe he has to act in a civilized manner, according to norms and rules that we impose upon ourselves. Thus, we have to forego our own self-imposed veneer of civilization (Utopia) and operate on his level..
