we're talking about the the core systems upon which our entire economy is run.

Exactly. Yesterday, it was tech workers, now call centers, support centers, accounting dept, truck drivers, nurses, architecture. What shall our children study to gain a meaningful employment. This is going to impact everyone. No one is immune.
