What I really like is, I can get pretty much all the software I need, other than games, through the box maker, and save so much over street prices on the software (forget list prices!) that the hardware is basically free. I think I figured that $900 box would actually cost me $87 for the hardware, plus shipping.

Or to say it another way: I can get a pile of software at discount prices, and for the cost of a cheap hard drive I can include a new, powerful computer; and have the programs already loaded and tested!

I ended up paying $1800 when all was said and done- including monitor and in my case I added a new printer. Same price I paid for my last machine, or close to it.
