(OT) * I love to play backgammon. It is a great game for getting a sense of how statistically improbable events can and do regularly bite (or save) you. But in the modern game the doubling cube removes a lot of the luck element, at least in games between good players. But backgammon is still a great gambling game - the bad players think they have just been unlucky when they lose. (Kind of like the daytraders). Peter
