What principle is that? What principle entails (in your mind) that we must make late term abortions illegal?

Criminalization of late term abortion, rare or not, is a matter of principle.

Well, we can agree that it's a matter of principle. The question is the relative ranking of relevant principles. I recognize that statists have little use for libertarian principles. But that is not the case with me. The relevance of the infrequency of late term abortions is that the practical effects help us rank conflicting principles.
