Their inability to maintain even a simple discussion demonstrates the emptiness of the pro-war argument.

So are you saying that JLA's or MD's pejorative comments were so bad that you had to escalate to implying that one would support a child molester and the other is a racist? (not to mention the other pejorative comments you made). You don't think you upped it a notch or two?

At least it is obvious that you understand (and by extension, justify by your actions) the concept of escalation when attacked. The problem with upping the ante like you did and like al qaeda did, is that you have to make damn sure that you can handle the response. When al qaeda and their supporters decided to wage a war with no moral code, they begged for a like response. I doubt that they are going to be able to handle the response over the long term.

I watched a great movie tonight called "Breaker Morant". A great movie that I watch every time it comes on. The story happens in during the Boer war in South Africa. In the end, two Australian military men are executed for killing the enemy as per orders from the British military command. It was the British military command that convicted and executed them. Their lawyer makes a great speech that goes to the point about responding to those who chose to engage in a war with no moral code. He states that a like response is not only "not wrong", it is to be expected. Great speech, based on a true story, they executed them anyway for political expediency. You'll never guess what roll I would cast you in...

BTW: I find your trivialization of child molestation and racism to be disgusting and offensive.
