dividend tax cut only helps the rich who own millions or billions in dividend paying stocks. If he really wants to boost the economy and the stock market he should eliminate the tax on capital gains. As an average investor currently holding HD stock, I would have to hold 100K worth of their stock for one year to get a $300 tax break, and I don't even have that much money. This dividend tax break is meant to make the rich richer and doesn't do much otherwise. I have to take the Democrats side on this one.
