More accurate to compare Agnew to Ed Meese, bribe-taking corrupt guys. Clinton never took any bribes. His only mistakes vis a vis Whitewater were on a personal level. And that bedroom witchhunt was a shameful time for American politics. dont try to defend it. If the Dems were doing the same to Bush now you'd scream holy hell and pick up a rifle to trty and murder Tom Daschle. Admit it, you guys can throw mud and rocks but you live in glass houses. Up until this point the Dems have been overly decent and not struck back. Only Larry Flynt has the gumption to do it and he was working for himself. But what goes around can come around so watch out.
