I'd suggest he wait until he can find an A40. Imo the 2500 is Nikon's version of a Kodak cardboard disposable. To cut costs, it doesn't even have a viewfinder. I wonder how they expect you to compose on a bright day when you can't see the LCD? Cute as hell, but read the owner's opinions: dpreview.com uf
