Shouldn't you make it just a bit less obvious that you are finding difficulty (extreme) in refuting the facts that I have presented to you.. It DOESN'T MATTER that Faisal reneged on his word (except to the Jews), whether unilaterally, or because his tribal chieftans were opposed.. What matters is that A HASHEMITE PRINCE, with TECHNICAL AND ACTUAL CLAIM OVER PALESTINE BY RIGHT OF HISTORICAL RULE AND CONQUEST, entered into a VOLUNTARY MUTUAL AGREEMENT WITH THE LEADER OF THE ZIONISTS inviting them to move to Palestine!! That's what matters.. It NEGATES any claim by Palestinians that Israel was imposed upon them by the British and French.. If anything, the Hashemites were JUST AS KEEN on bringing in well trained (and financed) European Jews in order to develop the area (recall his disdain for the "palestinians" living in the region already).. Now if Abdullah acted hastily, or without agreement of his father, the King (I highly doubt this), then that's HIS FAULT, not the fault of the Zionists.. What it shows is that the Hashemites UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED that the Jews had some claim on Palestine and that the Hashemites PREFERRED to have Jews living there than non-productive indigenous people... That's the whole point Len... That the Jews (Zionists) who came to Palestine WERE INVITED IN EVEN BY THE ARAB LEADERS of the time..
