There is illegal behavior, and behavior you happen to not agree with... two sometimes different things.

All I pointed out, was that in both of the cases you sited, there were witness (who partisans claim would have substantiated the public charges) that 'decided' not to testify at the last minute (in the Thomas case: the very day of Senate testimony). charges of witness intimidation were raised.

So, whether the charges were substantiated to your satisfaction in one case, or the other, seems to be a personal... not a legal matter anymore.
