Michal, have used CF exclusively for 5 years.

I have never had a card failure.

Recently I bought a Viking 512MB card for $149.99 on the Internet. Although I am
a big SanDisk fan, I could not get a SanDisk card for under $220, so a Viking it was.
I was surprised to see an error message on the Viking card after its first use. Reviewing
on the Olympus C-5050 several pix show up as "cannot read image" with a black screen.
When I put them into my PC card reader the images are still there, so I don't consider it
a card failure. Either way I am worried about future performance of this Viking card.
