JRI, I agree 100%, but the problem is you have to adjust to what is happening. The market is strong, there is no doubt about it. Whether or not it is justified is irrelevant. We are all trading to make money. If the market is going up, I am not going to try to fight it. I did that in November the past two years and I never learn.

I am not saying I am going to play it long, actually, I cannot justify buying calls here on anything. Frankly, I will watch and hope it goes to 1750 and then I will short the crap out of it. I think we have a long way down, but just not yet.

I can say that I have seen a decent turn yet that didn't have some still looking up....

If I see the turn and no one believes me then that gives weight to the count...ng...

JRI, I noticed that sentiment shift too

That shift made me wonder why someone hasn't mentioned that since "everybody" is now looking for more up, we won't get it as the upward trend is now exhausted <g/ng>

About Justa's post on the COT, he doesn't give a legend to show which lines mean which, so I don't know how to interpret it. I would be more interested in seeing such a chart in a weekly timeframe for the last year, though, to help give us a more immediate view on upcoming. market direction
