Karen, or anyone else, I wouldn't let folks who resort to vile and intimidating statements get you down. That some take pride in this is more unusual than the norm. I simply say: Let anyone behave in a manner sufficient by which to become judged. A reasonable mind is able to digest what's going on, what's sincerely felt and understood. Moreover, if the comments which concern you have a pattern of primarily coming from one side of the debate, well, that attests to the character and quality to the overall argument. A reasoned and courteous crtic is well-sought; a mindless and vindictive one is well-passed. I left the thread open for all to participate as freely as possible subject only to the terms and conditions of SI. I'll close by reminding all that the high ground gives the best views and is the place where most can be learned. Hang in there, folks!
