s2man- my first encounter with sailing was on a beneteau 42... a bareboat charter in the windward islands. the skipper was an unpleasant captain bligh but the caribbean, the islands, and the art of sailing were intoxicating. i bought a sunfish for $450 and later a 25 ft. macgregor for $5800 to teach myself enough to become captain bligh mice elf. now i can go anywhere in the whirrold and punish my crew to the point of mutiny. ask red. i had him and his camera equipment begging for towels and dry land. ask dealie. i had her performing pre-emptive strikes on innocents with WBMD (water balloons of mass destruction). ask rose. i had her soaked in salt water and close to tears on a full moon night in san carlos... ask harold. i had him running down the beach with fire shooting out of his arse. arrrrrgh! -bligh ps- afraid19 chose not to go near the boat when he visited me here, so i played golf like a duffer and spoke sailor language on the golf course.
