My anaology was just that, an analogy. Also, please note I didn't use the term, police officer.

My only point is that Bush is serious about going to war and the military build-up is there just like the "guy holding the gun." Meanwhile, the search for weapons is going on. Bush is on record as saying the US does not need UN endorsement to promulgate military action, in fact, he's bombing Iraq daily. Yes, he's shooting. It's just that he hasn't yet fired his big guns onto whoever becomes victim to them.

Am I correct?
