And, according to Treasury's table
released with other plan details on
Tuesday, taxpayers making $30,000 or
less would see a 17 percent decrease
in their tax bills, while those making
between $30,000 and $40,000 would
see a 20 percent decline. Those with
annual incomes of $200,000 and over
would see the smallest percentage
drop in their taxes -- 11.2 percent.

This is incredible, the lowest earners are receiving 65% more of a refund than the highest earners, and the second group almost 100% more of a reduction. This really is skewed towards a tax cut for the poor.

Dear John: I have not seen anyone report THIS: Republicans control all branches of Govt and now BOTH parties are bantering a TAX CUT. Now, if Dems controlled all branches of Govt do you think a TAX CUT at all would be in the works? Point being, no matter which side wins it looks like we will get some kind of tax cut, that wouldnt be likely if Dems in control. Cool huh. jdn
