Viking CompactFlash Card Failure

I am not sure what to do. Got the card because the 5 megapixel images
take up nearly 3MB each and wanted a large card for vacation. I am worried
that minor glitches now could spell card corruption later and I could lose a
big chunk of photos. Maybe I will contact Viking to see if there is a problem
with this batch of cards. My SanDisk cards work fine in the Olympus.

Card corruption can occur and make recovery of images difficult.
As you probably know, Lexar even started selling a software program
to help retrieve images locked up in a such situations. I wonder if this
phenomenon is more common in higher end cameras with high capacity cards and
large file sizes?
