Yes.. keep 80-90% cash or in T-Bills and GIC's and 10-20% gold and/or gold stocks.

WIth interest near zero, bonds are obviously topping. With P/E's still into stratosphere, stocks have obviously a lot of room to move to the downside.

IMO, if this thing hits the fan, owning some gold will not be enough as many assets will lose 50%. Even gold is not a sure thing.

I am on the wave that will carry the DOW to below 6000 and possibly right down to 4500. WIll be buying the blue ships when P/E are near 10 and dividends up to 5-6%.
