Good question. I just do a little ewave analysis and assign probabilities. I have a more bearish scenario too but frankly tend to stick with the one that fits the trend. As does Jeff, I assume the trend until the trend changes. In bullish scenarios I look for short sharp down moves and extended up moves. Of course, I look for the opposite in bearish scenarios. I see SPX support around 910 (SPOOS 911)...

Heck. Sometimes it works.<g>

That seems absurdly firm.

M
