We have lost the fiscal discipline we had during the Clinton years. Now, the deficits will get larger and larger, not only in absolute terms but in real terms - as a percentage of GDP. The boomers retirement is doomed.

Clinton's conservative fiscal policy saved the nation from more recession over the outcry of the GOP and gave us 7 years of boom-boom economy, not just here but globally. Compare to what we have now and deal with it. No changing history, pal. Not allowed in the real world.

Clinton recession? There you go again. Clinton's been out for two years. Now it's officially the Bush recession, deficits and big-time problem for which he has no rightful solution.
