Re your statement: "In the case of Thomas we had mere hearsay, an accusation by a liberal female against a conservative man". >>> All I had pointed out was that supposedly there was more than one witness. A second witness was scheduled to testify at the confirmation hearings up until the last minute. She had already been deposed, of course. Intimidation was suggested when she cancelled at the last minute. >>> That's all I pointed out, a small correction.
