The problem I have always had in the gold sector is finding stocks with passable fundamentals AND volume...lol.. That is why I missed a nice move in gold but I remember GFI being a favorite because of those two things. Same thing in the Coal stocks.... lots and lots of debt there.

Eva, And I have made a lot of money with GFI (with exception to the last 24 hours.). I prefer to stay with company in a defined trading range. my feeling is that the near term trend is capped so I also want to stay with a company that can be sold short and can be picked up long easily. The daily trading volume for GFI is much higher than that of VGZ and harris won't allow Short sales of stocks under 5.
