I was looking at the dark side of the moon last night and realized that the dark side I'm seeing is 2.6 seconds older then the bright crescent. If the moon blew up while I was looking at it, I'd see the crescent go first, then 2.6 seconds later, I'd see the rest go. With that kind of apparent paradox starting at my from the sky, how could I do anything but buy gold (or drink less egg nog...).
