I have learned to save a little on the side to short higher and that has worked well.

Thanks There did used to be some good posters on SI, and probably still are. But like a ghost town now, as bear markets ate most up and shorting is a different game. I just have tried to focus no my perfomance and generally seek out only info to help with calls ie. charts and news. Did find the COF news first on Yahoo msg board. The boards are most useful in that regard, sharing/spreading info quickly. Saves from searching news services-the net can lead to info overload as it is.

Re: early That will probably happen anyway occasionally, but Monday was a good example. I sat down, saw brokers were up, and started calling without thinking or recalling that I had expected them to bounce this in Jan. They rose with new year and hopes for new administration favoring their sector. Then add Bush plan, and ingredients for strength were there COF- 35.54 x 57 just a bad miss, but will have no problem coming down to earth and some next day or so. Market selling off bigtime- a bit more than expected today
