Actually the way I used it as a preventative is, if I were going to be around people who I knew had a cold, then I'd take a shot of Zicam to hopefully prevent the cold virus from replicating. Seemed logical to me....maybe I'm way off, which is highly possible...lol. As far as it affecting immunity....I have no clue...just pasted what you posted. I figured he knew a heck of a lot more than I did.

As far as losing faith in Zicam, I for sure don't have the same confidence as I did when I first tried it years ago. The way it knocked that first cold in like 2 or 3 days, just absolutely amazed me. Maybe I'm just a bit grouchy because my nose is running and I have a sore throat....heck it may be the flu....so strike what I said....lol.
