Yes. Those who have not served have no idea how this type of crap in the media and other outlets communicated to the troops by family members or other sources has on morale....

thank you for your kind words, foxlette. but i am simply stating that which i believe is what a profound majority of americans think and feel... and our soldiers have internet access now....they can read some of this bilge about associated guilt wrt war atrocities (if true) that was caused by others fighting on the battlefield (taliban and northern alliance)........ i stated "war is hell" based not only on what i read and have seen on film but also based upon the stories that were told to me by my father and my father -in -law...an uncle (WWII) and currently a nephew who is now in the armed forces...and thankfully not from first hand knowledge. and i hope i never do... and i hope that our people never again will suffer the kind of atrocities that were perpetrated on 9/11...but i do have concerns that it might...but i also trust our leadership and military to do the best that they can to prevent it... that's all we can ask of them and they surely deserve our full and unwavering support as they do whatever they are called upon to do. this thead header is wrong, btw... we are not "starting a war" war was visited upon us. by al quaeda and i believe the friend of our enemy is our enemy... and will do whatever he (saddam hussein) can to aid and assist his "friends" in killing americans. and i expect my government to do everything it can to prevent that...
