Hi PG.. I think it moved up above it enough to trap a lot of people. I think you can be long and short depending on which stocks/sectors.. I have never traded puts but I suspect you will do great with them...lol.. Of course, one of these days those earnings are going to turn around enough to get one of those 200 point days. Right now there seems to be so many things that could weigh the market down seems safer to be on the short/put side.

I noticed the other day that you live near a place where I had a lot of fun a few years back ;o). We used to go to Monterey for the weekends and there is also a nice redwood forest park where you can camp in cabin type things. We had great fun there. Glad you didn't get much damage from the quake. Having lived thru some big ones in Japan, I still wake in a panic if the bed moves too much..lol..
