if we are down in the AM then i will be tempted to go long. the pattern lately is that RSI reverses near midpoint on the first excursion out of overBOUGHT.

backtested, it has been profitable on $ndx over past five years, but not nearly as reliable as some of the other patterns presented here lately.

Jeffrey: I would not try to play any bounce at this point. Bounce players probably got ass kicked today. Not worth the effort here. Expect the same tomorrow.

summary of my past two top predictions:

my targets from over 3 weeks ago (assuming they hold up) were dead on again.

dow 8800 vs actual 8802.6
spx 930 vs actual 931.8
ndx 1080 vs actual 1082.5
nas 1460 vs actual 1442.3 (no ones perfect ggg)

i don't know exactly why my target selection is working out so well, but im not complaining. This round was actually better than the one from dec.

for the dec high i used ranges per the newsletter i send out to family members. for some reason i just picked single number this time.

for dec i was looking for highs in the range/ actual

dow 9000-9050 vs actual 9043
spx 945-965 vs actual 954
ndx 1160-1180 vs actual 1155 (farked this one up)
nas 1480-1520 vs actual 1521
