Biggs, recall, was WAYYY early in calling the end of the bull. remember him getting abuse by Cramer and the other yahoos on CNBC? he got branded as a 'perma-bear', a distinction he obviously did not enjoy (not to mention that relative intellectual weaklings like Abby and Tom Galvin were getting all the props...) the ONLY way Biggs is going to shake his perma-bear reputation is to be EARLY in identifying the bull. i think that's a big reason for his call (whether he knows it or not...) remember, real bear markets kill all the BEARS too. Cheers
