Poor chiefy, not enough time in the day, eh?

stockhouse.com

I have a long list now, I then compare what he is saying to what he is doing. It takes time, but I have lots of it, DTing can be boreing at times, but you must still sit here. So why not do it

Chief,

I'm don't post messages because I'm a beginning 65 year old and not too bright when it comes to trading.

I have certainly enjoyed your comments over the years ( missed you during your sabbatical ) and your advice from which I think I've learned a little. ( At least as much as my limited brain cell reserve allows )

Don't quit. Otherwise the idiots win. I admit I get a kick out of "John Paquet', and your comment about speaking braille was especially good for a laugh (reminds me of my boss whose name is 'John Paquet' but doesn't play the market)

Put all those a-holes on ignore, carry on, post less and do your thing first.

Whatever you decide, all the best.

Bill

Take a deep breath and smell the roses .

If you are still above ground and have caring people surrounding you you have it all ,the rest is just noise.

Whatever u decide, I sincerely wish u the best. I do fervently hope that u will wake up tomorrow and find that its a new day of opportunity and we will still be here waiting.
I just came back in October from a 2 year trading hiatus and a big part of that was finding this thread coming back to life. I remember 2 years ago when bickering started, I think it was on Ed Pakstas thread. The thread eventually died and we were all the poorer for it.
This thread is the best Canadian DT thread around, bar none, and it is because of u. I learn so much from ur analyses and comments as well as others. Thats the value - not so much the heads ups.
My fondest wish is to get to the point were my skills are such that I can give u heads ups that make U money - not to coattail on ur trades.
U are the only person I have ever met online that I have actually ever conversed with over the phone and that says a lot about the person u are.
Take a rest if u need it, but please come back.
Sincerely best wishes
Mike

Just click on any of the horses heads to hear them sing and click on
them again to stop the singing, if you click them all you get a
chorus!

Good luck Mr Chief,...

Greatly enjoyed the time you spared with us. Learned a chitload about trading and the market from you. Hope you learned a little from us.

Lots of posters have clicked on the no private messages, and ignored the nutcases. Lots of egos and nutcases on all threads, and I agree that we probably have more to learn from you, than you from us,...which is why I will miss you.

Hope you will reconsider posting to the SI daytrading thread,...but thanks for the memories (gggggggggggg)

Thanks again, and good luck!

Dear Chief
Itwas with great sadness that I just read your e-mail saying that you were hanging up your hat.
You Personally are responsible for a number of successes in my life.
I initially started reading your thread and specifically your comments. Your teachings inspirired me to become an Investment Advisor with Dominion Securities and your continued comments allowed be to get the confidence to apply and after some time get a Pro-Trader Position with Nesbitt Burns. I just wanted to say thanks.
You personally have helped me in my life.
Thanks and Best Wishes
Doug Taylor
