Well Frank in simpler terms then - hang on to your friggin golds, it looks like move has started.

OTOH I do watch for negative developments. I don't like the smell of the general market, at the present time, one iota. AND I still wonder if it got really hairy if it could adversely affect PM's.

Frank,

<which is why I cleared the table and added gold stocks that have proven reserves, keyword... PROVEN!!!>

A very wise strategy. That will help make profits. And I see nothing wrong if you decide to limit risk to these gold stocks and put away the enormous profits possible with grass roots explorers.

There are stocks for all investors profile.

However, at this stage of the game (after a $100 rise in the price of gold), it becomes a lot harder to make good profits. And it is even possible to loose them all. After all we do not know where gold is going and how fast.

Junior golds explorers are the only one who can still give you hundred percents of gains.

True, most explorers fail. That when selecting a junior, you must leave the chart alone and evaluate: management, balance sheet et gold prospects. In this category, there are speculations as well as investment grade companies.

<I'd hate for us to crest the $400 level holding nothing but drillbit plays.>

100% true. That is why diversification is important. Just in case gold goes back to $330 and remains in a trading range for several months.

I am sure that if I could have told you the CKG story 6 months ago. You would have buiy the stock. Even now, I am sure that if I would try, I would probably convince you to buy a few. And they have no reserves.
