The first one is not morose at all IMO ! The beat itself is trendy and chirpy?

Do naino mein - yes - its a personal favorite of mine since i was a kid. Remember we talked about Jeetu Uncle and those 3 Gulzar movies he starred in ? This one's from Dulhan, filmed with beautiful Hema. Its one of the few hindi songs which has barely any music to it <the movie version had none, if i'm not mitaken>, it is carried solely by the magic of her voice and the pathos of the words....and yet, one rarely notices the absence of music. The only other song I feel that can compete with Do naino mein, is Phir se ayyo in Namkeen [Sharmila Tagore, Shabana, Sanjeev Kumar]. I couldn't find the lyrics. Both movies [Namkeen and Dulhan] were equally haunting.

The third is from Anndata. It is filmed with Jaya Bhaduri. Need I say more ? <smile>

I advise everyone to migrate to sunny california. The weather is superb all the year round.
