SUV's indeed offer more support to terrorists than marijuana ever will. Those phony anti-marijuana ads were a big lie. No terrorists deal in marijuana. Some deal in opium, but most opium in Afghanistan is controlled by our allies the Northern Alliance, and output has tripled since we invaded per UN statistics. When Bushies killed the Kerry-McCain fuel efficiency bill they also helped terrorists. Because Saudi Arabia gives money to terrorists. A lot more than saddam will ever give. And Bush is in bed with the Saudis. Has been for decades. recently pledged "eternal friendship" the the Saudis. Who wont even let us use our airbase there. The Bin Lauden family owes all their wealth to our oil money too. Bush Sr' and James Baker's carlylse Group did business with the Bin Laudens right up until 9-11. Bush Sr. got a free ride to saudi Arabia on Bin Lauden Sr's private jet. And they attack Max Clenand war hero as being un-patriotic about Homeland Security. And meanwhile Bush just gave away all the money we needed for Homeland Security to Wall Street fat cats. About time we all see the Bushies for what they really are. Dishonest.

SUVs SUCK! Gasoline gluttony supports terrorists! So Says the Detroit Project thedetroitproject.com Arianna Huffington sez: Welcome to Americans for Fuel Efficient Cars. The idea for this project came to me while watching -- for the umpteenth time -- one of those outrageous drug war ads the Bush administration has flooded the airwaves with. You know, the ones that try and link using drugs to financing terrorism. Instead of shaking my head in disgust and reaching for the Mute button like I usually do when I see these ads, I decided to channel my indignation. Why not turn the tables and adopt the same tactics the administration was using in the drug war to point out the much more credible link between driving SUVs and our national security? Thus began our campaign to create a series of TV ads designed to win the hearts and minds -- and change the driving habits -- of American consumers by asking them to connect the dots and think about the effect energy wastefulness is having not just on the environment, but on our foreign policy. Dear TP: This is the MOST DISGUSTING advertising I have ever seen. Take Ms. Huffington, how many of you wish to bet THAT DUMB ASS RIDES HER FAT ASS AROUND IN A BIG LIMO OR HIGH POWERED SPORTS CAR?? I cant believe ANYONE would watch her. She ought to have her money taken from her as she is TOO STUPID to deserve it. We get about 19mpg on our jeeps and that isnt too bad IMHO. Also, when trailing we are just idling, a 19 gal gas tank on my TJ lasts 3 days on the trails, maybe more. We use a heck of a lot less fuel than someone lollygagging around in a minivan or car all over the country on vacation. DAMN THAT MAKES ME ANGRY. jdn
