Hi elmatador et al, I remember clearly when everyone thought Juniper was going to be the next Cisco and Cisco was headed for bankruptcy. Well, things have changed. Juniper is steadily losing market share to Cisco and Cisco has strengthened their stranglehold on the networking industry in the last 3 years. If the last 3 years hasn't convinced you that Cisco knows how to compete against the most cutthroat of competitors, then you clearly have been missing the story.

I truly believe that Dell and Huawei are the most formidable competitors Cisco has ever faced. I never really sweated Nortel or Lucent or even Juniper. But what everyone fails to realize is this will be a battle that is waged over the next 10 years and the probability is high that Cisco will continue to be a significant force in the market segments that Dell and Huawei are attacking.

All I'm saying is don't count Dell's and Huawei's chickens before they hatch.
