I listened to the Circuit City call. Not a lot to go on. They did say strength picked up in late December, but not enough to make up for a weak early December.

They also made comments leading me to believe their problems in wireless were not unit volume, but declining retail ASP's.

They would not comment on specific inventories, other than to say PC inventory was OK.

Not much on wireless from the CC. Hey said wireless phone sales were up double digits. They also highlighted gift card sales were up 30%, an indication of future sales.

Again, this fits anecdotal comments from Sprint Express store manager about hot sales on the weekend before Christmas. Let's remember that PCS's guidance in December was given before this.
