I already read, and was responding in part to, the letters you cited. First, they shoot in the foot your argument about "generalities," because they use generalities themselves. Second, I agree with the writers, the US should have nothing to do with a government which deliberately targets civilians, which is why we should refuse to deal with Arafat. The PA is one of the most obscenely corrupt, destructive regimes in the world today. Do the Palestinian people want peace? I thought you were arguing that they want revenge. Can't have both.
